In realtà la notizia non è nuova, ma la foto è così bella che non ho resistito. In un articolo della BBC si spiega che, secondo il Dr Arnon Dar (un Israeliano), moriremo tutti in un bel botto spaziale. Una supernova supergigante e ZAP!: tutti fritti.

Beh, magari non proprio noi, la cosa succede all'incirca ogni cento milioni di anni e secondo l'ottimista professore sarebbe la causa delle estinzioni periodiche riscontrate dai paleologi (e il famoso meteorite?).
Comunque la foto è di Eta Carinae che sta per fare il botto, ma sembra che sia puntata da un'altra parte.
