Segnalo due cose:

  1. Intelligente articolo di Tim O'Reilly, su pirateria e diritti di autore (anche se un po' lungo). Secondo lui:
    • Il non essere conosciuti è una minaccia per gli autori molto più grande della pirateria
    • La pirateria è una tassa progressiva
    • I clienti vogliono fare la cosa giusta, se possono
    • I borseggiatori sono una minaccia maggiore dei pirati
    • Le reti di scambio file (tipo Napster) non minacciano gli autori, ma le case di distribuzione
    • I servizi gratuiti sono alla fine sempre sostituiti da servizi a pagamento di migliore qualità
    • C'è più di un modo per fare le cose
  2. Solito geniale Jon Udell, che (con la collaborazione di altri) ha creato una classe di bookmarklet per vedere se un libro scoperto da Amazon è in libreria. Si va sulla pagina di Amazon, si clicca sul bookmarklet della libreria e si vede se si può avere il libro in prestito.

Purtroppo me ne ero accorto, ma tacevo per la vergogna.  Sono dietro il baffino e la sua barca, speriamo che non butti la spazzatura dalla murata. Quel furbone di Mantellini ha risalito precipitosamente la china, mettendo il nome nel titolo, dove prima c'era solo Manteblog. Fra l'altro adesso è molto più semplice fare queste classifiche, basta usare technocrati (dove peraltro risulto 74-esimo).
