Sabato, al CitizenCamp, a causa di uno dei caratteristici fallimenti della mia memoria, ho detto che mi tengo informato sul Global Warming leggendo un immaginario blog che si chiama Global Climate. Il vero nome è naturalmente RealClimate e approfitto di questa errata corrige per segnalare un ottimo articolo, uscito oggi, sulla crescita del livello degli oceani a causa del riscaldamento globale:
The main conclusion of this analysis is that sea level uncertainty is
not smaller now than it was at the time of the TAR, and that quoting
the 18-59 cm range of sea level rise, as many media articles have done,
is not telling the full story. 59 cm is unfortunately not the "worst
case". It does not include the full ice sheet uncertainty, which could
add 20 cm or even more. It does not cover the full "likely" temperature
range given in the AR4 (up to 6.4 °C) - correcting for that could again

Il campionato del Due Madonne arriva ad un finale drammatico. Abbiamo tre punti di vantaggio sul Lasagne ma una partita in più. Sabato alle 15.30, al campo Cavina Biavati 2 (un cesso) ci si gioca la stagione. Intervieni numeroso. Aggiornamento: tutto rimandato, i campionati sono stati sospesi per maltempo.
